IEN develops instrumentation for
research nuclear reactors in the country, systems for modernization
of the instrumentation of the Angra 1 and 2 nuclear plants, and
equipment for radiation and surface contamination monitoring and
dosimetry. The equipment developed, after patented, is transferred
to the national industry so that it meets the needs of hospitals
and nuclear medicine services, industries and research laboratories.
